▲ BOHO SWIM STYLE ▲
I don't know about you, but I am DEFINITELY ready for Summer...
While wondering when the sunny and warm surf days are going to finally arrive, I'm still enjoying checking out and accumulating some lovely Bohemian style beach accessories to complement my favorite swimwear.
Whether you're opting for the contemporary nylon string bikini set or delicate 60s-inspired crochet one piece—if you're looking to add a bit more unique style and feminine flare to your beach bod (when you're not going to be actively charging on a surfboard) there are many ways to get creative with layering accessories on top of your swimwear while soaking up the Summer sun.
Layering wooden beads or stringing shells(the DIY approach is also fun; punching and stringing your own fav sentimental beach walk finds) is a great way to accentuate neutral or knit textile swimwear, as well as a flowing neutral knit or crochet or translucent caftan.
I think the darker or bold, vibrant color solid suits (especially bikinis) look terrific with layered colorful or pearl necklaces and stacked bracelets, or even wrapped with a vibrant sarong, translucent swim wrap or pashmina. I love the look above which shows the tie dye bikini w/ old vintage fringe leather Boho vest...obviously, the leather isn't as conducive to playing in the sea—however this ensemble would be more fitting and fun for an end of day beach BBQ or sunset beach walk.
