▲ SALVAGED STYLE

The Sunset Sessions has had the fortune to cross paths and work with some fantastic jewelry designers lately, and is proud to feature the most recent collection from IADORNU designed by Mary Beth Heishman in latest lookbook "Hot Mess."
Mary Beth Heishman is a fantastically talented young woman based out of Las Vegas, NV who creates jewelry from recycled vintage materials and incorporates a bit of old classic nostalgic finds from past—fused with modern embellishments.
Her latest collection(featured above in images from The Sunset Sessions latest lookbook) includes a convergence of used .357 shell casings with shiny rare crystals and beautiful old chains from old vintage metal antiques. They are incredibly eye-catching, magically unique and convey a fantastic design aesthetic which merges both an old & rugged style with contemporary elegance and femininity.
This shoot took place in a very dry and desolate rural Valley setting in East California, including an incredible location at an old salvage yard. I felt these locations (as well as the wardrobe) would allow the model, jewelry and wardrobe/styling to become immersed in the background environments and further become a representation of the elements which represent Heishman’s jewelry & brand aesthetic. The wardrobe was a combination of old original 60s & 70s California ranchwear vintage leather clothing as well as delicate crochet knitwear from a limited-edition collection from Australian designer KIVARI.

All featured wardrobe items from this shoot are now open to public sale:
