▲ BOHO CHIC SURF STYLE ▲
I think if there is ever a women's fashion style & look which summarizes The Sunset Sessions—this is pretty much it. (And absolutely no complaints about the surfing, sunset and vintage truck elements in the photos, too! ;) ...These are ALL my favorite things!
This look above is the quintessential statement of casual surfer girl meets vintage Boho chic. I love it. The look is casual, comfortable, stylish, feminine, sexy all rolled into one.
Both looks are great for post-surf sess fashion style or stylish gals who simply have ocean-minded lifestyle on the brain and in closet...
Whether you're heading out for a date, night on the town, or gathering with friends—the long flowing patterned dress or a similar Boho design skirt is a perfect wardrobe statement piece. I always pack few of these type dresses or skirts in suitcase on surf trips for this very reason. (And they're especially lightweight, don't wrinkle too easily and take up little luggage space.) If you're heading somewhere slightly more casual in the dress--a chunky leather cuff and/or a pair of converse or vintage cowboy boots help make it less formal and a little more funky.
As far as the denim jeans and vintage boots mixed with long scarf/wrap and vintage cami or tee—sold. That's pretty much my daily "go to" outfit, surf day or not! And if it's chilly out or you're in an urban environment, spending a work day in an office—just throw on a really unique, well-made and cut, bold color vintage leather jacket with eye-catching statement accessories. The leather and jewelry accents will help make the ol' white "tee and jeans" look more formal and appropriate for professional environments.
